  3. WinJPEG v.2.7 is a shareware image viewer with image processing and 
  4. conversion capabilities for Microsoft Windows 3.x.  It has the following

  43. There are three versions of WinJPEG: a 386+ version for 386's or better, a 
  44. 386 version for 386's or better, and a 286 one for 286's or better.  The 
  45. shareware version is a fully functional 386 version.  The 386+ version is 
  46. almost twice as fast as the shareware version in decoding JPEG's without 
  47. sacrificing image quality, and it can be obtained by registering WinJPEG.
